Numbered option rule
Choose a fixed option position—first, second, third, and so on. This is useful when the organiser changes the poll wording but your response remains in the same position.
Controlled by design
A personal automation, not a broad group bot.
The setup is intentionally small: choose your linked number, verify the group, choose a rule, and keep the rule visible. It does not scan group history and it does not send a text reply.
- One linked WhatsApp number and one selected group per personal rule.
- Only a new inbound group poll can trigger the rule; older polls are ignored.
- One vote only: no explanatory message, reply, or extra group post.
- Exact mode ignores near matches; numbered mode ignores polls without the configured option position.
- The linked number must be authorized to participate in the selected group.
Set it up in Bow Chat
Start with a group you already have permission to use.
- 1. Link your WhatsApp number. Connect the personal number through the normal Bow Chat onboarding flow.
- 2. Select one group. Refresh the linked number's groups and choose the one where the rule belongs.
- 3. Set the vote rule. Use exact matching for a known recurring poll, or select a numbered option for changing titles.
- 4. Review and enable. A future matching inbound poll casts the single configured vote; you can disable the rule when it is no longer needed.

What is Bow Chat WhatsApp Poll Automation?
It is Bow Chat's first Personal Automation: a narrowly configured Poll Helper for one linked WhatsApp number and one selected WhatsApp group. It casts one configured poll vote when its rule is met.
What if the poll title changes each week?
Use the numbered option mode. It applies to a new poll in the selected group and chooses the fixed first, second, third, or other configured position, so the title does not have to be identical.
Does Poll Helper send a WhatsApp text reply?
No. Poll Helper only casts the configured vote. It does not send a text reply, post to the group, or turn a near match into an action.
Does it search old WhatsApp group messages or old polls?
No. The rule applies to a new inbound poll after it has been enabled. It does not scan group history or act on a poll sent by the linked number itself.
Can AI decide which poll option to choose?
The current public offer is deterministic: exact matching or a fixed option position. A premium AI selection mode is not part of this public launch.
